About

Linda Tseitlin, Principal Genealogist

Linda is the founder and principal researcher at Liaisons Genealogy.  As a family genealogist, she has been discovering forgotten stories and unravelling her own family history mysteries for more than 35 years. Her areas of research have included Ireland, Germany, France, Quebec, New England, New York City, and Chicago/northwest Indiana.  Exploring her husband's roots has exposed her to Eastern European and Jewish genealogy.  Her experience includes gathering oral history.

A graduate of Wellesley College, she earned certificates from the Program in Genealogical Research at Boston University, an intensive course in professional methods and standards, and ProGen 34, an 18-month study group for professional genealogists. She successfully completed DNA as Genealogical Evidence (Advanced) at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research in July of 2019, and Fundamentals of Forensic Genealogy at the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh in July of 2018.

Linda lives on the historic North Shore of Massachusetts, where she has access to local, private, and state archives in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
