About

Linda Tseitlin, Principal Genealogist

Linda is the founder and principal researcher at Liaisons Genealogy.  As a family genealogist, she has been discovering forgotten stories and unravelling her own family history mysteries for more than 35 years. Her areas of research have included France, Germany, Ireland, Quebec, New England, New York City, and Chicago/northwest Indiana.  Exploring her husband's roots has exposed her to Eastern European and Jewish genealogy.  Her experience includes gathering oral history.  A graduate of Wellesley College, she earned a certificate from the Program in Genealogical Research at Boston University, an intensive graduate level course in professional methods and standards, and is taking part in ProGen, an 18-month study group for professional genealogists.  She lives on the historic North Shore of Massachusetts, where she has access to local, private, and state archives in eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
